MIke Gearey
Our Musical Director is Mike Gearey.
Mike's full time job is a Trade Control Specialist with a major Japanese engineering company in Worcester. He's been our Musical Director since 2016 when he took over from Chris Hartwright.
With a solid background in barbershop singing , Mike has sung bass with Anvil Chorus in Birmingham as well as with Vale Harmony before he went "out front " to direct the chorus.
Mike has led us through some amazing fundraising concerts, including three joint performances at Pershore Abbey with the Great Western Chorus from Bristol. We've been under his command at singouts at the Worcester Victorian Fayre, Pershore Plum Fayre, Three Counties Showground at Malvern and many more (see the chorus History elsewhere on this website).
