TRIBUTE TO COLIN PEMBERTON

On 28th March we said a sad goodbye to one of our Vale Harmony members, Colin Pemberton, who passed away suddenly, a month previously.
We were privileged and honoured to be asked by Colins wife Lynne to sing his favourite song, Hallelujahby Leonard Cohen, at his funeral that afternoon.
It was a wonderful service, conducted by Rev Richard Thorniley. Colins friend from Midlands Today, Peter Wilson, gave a glowing eulogy. There were also emotional poems and memories from his family which gave Colin the send off he deserved. It was “standing room only” at a packed Vale Crematorium in Fladbury.
Farewell to a great friend and fellow chorus member of The A Cappella Fellas.  Colin was a key member of our Lead Section and served as our Public Relations Officer and Health and Safety Officer. He will be missed in so many ways by so many people.
He was a charming man, with a wonderful smile and kindness in abundance, in addition to being a talented singer.

RIP Colin and thank you for everything, from us all at Vale Harmony.
